Chain Guide Fit Check
1. Offer up the new guide to it's mounting position. It should slide freely into position, and
move on it's shaft with light finger pressure. Test the strength of the tensioner spring. That's
all there is to move it - not much.
2. If the guide is tight, or will not fit at all, file the sides of the new one, until it fits.
Use the the old guide as an indicator.
3. Remove the guide.
Chain Tensioner Preparation
1. Remove the tensioner spring.
2. Set the tensioner to it's compressed position, ready for installation, and set aside.
